Toronto Hosts the FIFA World Cup: Wear Your Jersey, Save 10% at Seven Point Cannabis
Toronto is a FIFA World Cup host city. Wear any jersey to Seven Point Cannabis from June 12 – July 19 for 10% off non-discounted products.
June 12, 2026 · Seven Point Cannabis
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is heading to Toronto, and the city is bracing for one of the biggest summers in its history. Six matches at BMO Field, thousands of visiting supporters, and a stretch of June and July that’s going to feel less like a sporting event and more like a city-wide street party.
We’re marking the occasion with a promo for the locals: wear any World Cup jersey into either Seven Point Cannabis shop between June 12 and July 19, and you’ll get 10% off all non-discounted products. Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Portugal, England, Morocco, Japan — whichever flag you fly, the discount works the same.
Why this one matters for Toronto
Hosting World Cup matches isn’t just a sports milestone. It puts Toronto on a global stage for a month, and the city has the multicultural depth to actually deliver. Walk through almost any neighbourhood here and you’ll find a community with ties to one of the 48 nations playing — and during the tournament, those ties become flags on porches, jerseys at the grocery store, and packed patios for every match.
For visitors, it’s an introduction to one of the best eating, drinking, and people-watching cities on the continent. For residents, it’s an excuse to make new traditions with neighbours you might not have met yet.
How the jersey promo works
The rules are short:
- Wear any World Cup jersey
- Visit either Seven Point Cannabis shop between June 12 and July 19
- Get 10% off all non-discounted products
The discount applies across the menu — flower, pre-rolls, edibles, beverages, vapes, accessories — anything that isn’t already marked down. It doesn’t stack with other active promos.
Both stores are in good spots for match day. Our High Park shop is steps from Bloor West Village patios and a short ride down to BMO Field. King West sits in the middle of the downtown sports-bar belt, walking distance to nearly every screen in the Entertainment District.
Building a match-day setup that works
Every fan has a tradition, and the World Cup is when those traditions get tested. Forty-eight teams, 104 matches, a tournament that runs from June 11 to July 19 — pace yourself.
If you’re hosting, set up the room early. Snacks bought. Drinks cold. Charger in arm’s reach so nobody has to crawl behind the TV at 90+3. If cannabis is part of the hangout, our summer cannabis drinks guide is a good place to start: low-dose, easy to share, no smoke, no smell, and they fit in a cooler like any other beverage.
For the post-match crawl, our list of Toronto restaurants for the munchies covers everything from birria tacos on Spadina to Loga’s momos by the High Park shop. Budtender tip: order the food before the edible kicks in.
If you’re new to cannabis and want a primer on what to grab for a long viewing session, the Learn Hub and our Toronto cannabis tourism guide are the fastest way to get oriented.
Responsible match-day consumption
Tournament weeks are long, and the temptation to push it on a big match is real. A few habits that help:
Start low and go slow
Especially with edibles and drinks — the onset is slower than smoking, and the mistake is doubling down before the first dose has landed. Forty-five minutes is the honest minimum to wait.
Know what you’re working with
If it’s a long viewing day, low-THC drinks or a 2.5–5 mg edible will keep you present through extra time. Save the high-potency stuff for after the final whistle.
Don’t drive
TTC, a rideshare, or a friend who’s not consuming — pick one and lock it in before kickoff. Cannabis-impaired driving is illegal in Ontario regardless of how good the match was.
Stay hydrated
Summer, sports, and cannabis all pull water out of you. Keep a bottle next to you on the couch and a second one in the bag if you’re heading to a patio.
Respect the rules
Ontario requires keeping cannabis smoke 20 metres from playgrounds, school grounds, and most public patios. Plenty of public viewing areas during the tournament will fall into those zones — plan accordingly, or lean on edibles and drinks where smoke isn’t welcome.
See you at the shop
Toronto isn’t going to feel like this again for a long time, and we’re glad to be part of it. Whether you’re hosting watch parties, packing into a King West bar, or making the trip down to BMO Field, we’d love to see your team colours.
Wear any World Cup jersey between June 12 and July 19, get 10% off non-discounted products, and enjoy the tournament.
Want to skip the line on a busy match day? Order pickup or delivery ahead of kickoff — Toronto’s about to get busy. 19+ only.
